  I thought to just rip a page out of my journal and stick it in here “as is” .. so here it is .. from yesterday .. (I wonder how it reads ?) ..
  After checking I beg the reader’s indulgence on matters of Koran and so forth .. they were very significant to me in the moment when read .. as they are so strong in their significance to a true believer but may seem unworthy of note .. or even objectionable to a non-believer .
  Heartfelt understanding of them is vouchsafed to the one who truly knows them to be direct revelations from The Lord of the worlds .. & certainly not inventions of any human mind.
  Not all arguments as expressed here are static .. nor always accurately expressed .. but the writing of them provided great relief and a certain clarification to the writer .. it is hoped that they may be of some interest to others also even when not agreed with 100%.

  I know something of the not-self .. It is that which is both subject and object when searched for .. and therefore impossible to find in any normal way .. I say that this does not mean it does not exist but that it is existence itself.

  The whole point of non-duality or mysticism as it is sometimes known, is that it is an experience of the truth which transcends the opposites. It’s most common expression is the identity of the opposites which is experienced as the identity of subject and object.

  The most intimate and immediate experience of this is in oneself .. when it is realised that the I and the me are the same .. The I who is looking and the me I am looking for are one and the same .. this is a common and ubiquitous experience to man but he doesn’t realise it because he has become fooled by the identity with thoughts and body .. He thinks that the me is the body and the mind .. and once that is identified as an object an inevitable split occurs between the experiencing I and the me as experienced .. That is the beginning and the end of all man’s troubles.

  I am fitting this together with my knowledge or understanding of sufism through which I have become convinced of the genuineness of Muhammad as a messenger of God and the genuineness of his message despite its apparently aggressive and threatening tone.

  I awoke from a dream in which I came to a place, which would seem to have been a familiar restaurant, with several friends .. I was asking the restaurant staff, about the soup and it was suggested amongst my friends that maybe I could invite everybody to partake of it (i.e. pay for it) .. but when I enquired they told me that maybe they didn’t have enough of one type for everybody .. so (based upon experience from experiments at home) I asked them if they couldn’t mix the various soups that they had, to make one which was tasty and enough for everybody.

  I wonder if this is a symbolic way of telling me that I should try to tell my group of friends (or humanity / a readership) about the possibility of partaking in a spiritual experience or truth which is common to them all ..

  I would have to pay for it by writing a book (or even speaking !) .. the tasty truth would be a product of a mixture or cross over between them all, the common element being that they were soup .. or religions / beliefs / practices and that it would be found that when mixed they were all the same thing .. having the element of being easily edible & digestible (like soup) .. and rather than opposing in flavours actually having all the different flavours contributing to one unusual and tasty soup shared as a common experience ..

  The common denominator, if you like, would be what is loosely termed or known as non-duality .. which is another way of saying .. unity ..

  Unity is the outstanding feature of God .. especially the Muslim God Allah and is known as Tawhid in Islam .. I understand it as the reality of all things which is most easily and immediately discovered through looking for oneself .. By looking into the real nature of oneself it is discovered that I cannot be found in any dualistic terms of subject and object because I am that I am ..

  I am that which I am .. I amness is the essential nature of experience or consciousness which is behind and before the splitting off into I and that which is easily observable as me .. (i.e. my body with its sensations and perceptions through the five senses and its actions .. or, going inside the mind, the labels which I apply to those sensations and perceptions after they have been sensed or percieved and often preserved in memory ) ..

  So it will be seen that there is an immediate experienced self and there is an illusory self which is always formed ‘after the fact’ by the senses and perceptions which are then labelled by thought.

  What a long way from reality !

  Just as the common modern tendency for non-dualists is to say that I don’t exist because I can’t be found .. so is there a tendency to say that God doesn’t exist because God can’t be found ..

  For me the very fact that there is any existence of anything at all .. which can’t be denied by even the most materialistic of materialists .. is the proof of God as that which is everywhere but cannot be found .. How can there be anything at all if there is no God ? How can I be at all if I do not exist ? And yet I am and there is existence .. Existence which when its source is looked for in cosmic terms cannot be found .. even though man thinks he has found the beginning of it all .. (i.e. the Big Bang) .. yet he still does not know what began it .. or how it began .. and nor can he find the real nature of consciousness and where thought comes from .. and nor can he find the true nature of material existence at an atomic and subatomic level except for the unearthly and weird notion unacceptable to science , that actually there is nothing there at all ! Even science longs for the singularity .. the one all encompassing theory that will explain everything ..

  Maybe it is only the word God which puts everyone off the very obvious answer that the I which cannot be found and the originator of the universe and the origin of material existence at a subatomic level is the same one which is everywhere but which cannot be found and is beyond the comprehension of man’s mind ..

  It will take huge hunility on the part of modern man to accept that the human mind is a limited apparatus which is designed by that which it is looking for and which the human heart longs for ..

  The most interesting thing is that the place where mostly man does not look is in himself ..

  The most basic necessary ingredient of the tasty soup common to all but with so many unique manifestations, is only to be found there .. in man himself ..

  Once recognised there it will be recognised everywhere ..

  ‘He who knows himself knows his Lord.’

  ‘I was a hidden secret and I made creation so that I could be known.’

  The real job of man and the reason for his creation is to find that which is beyond duality through the identity of subject and object which is himself.

  Once found in himself it will be found everywhere .. and .. (I hesitate to say it) .. if enough people find the non-dual in themselves soon enough .. then .. humanity and the planet will be saved .. How can that which recognises itself to be one with all others destroy the others ? .. Why all the competing and fighting and isolation in groups defined as nations or tribes or believers in particular religions if the other is recognised as oneself ?

  Everyone already knows that more stuff does not make you happy .. (or do they ? .. scratches head ..) ..

  No maybe they don’t .. we haven’t even got that far yet .. In fact governments these days thrive on pushing the very idea that more stuff makes people happy .. despite the old and well known adage that “You can’t take it with you when you go.” .. despite the recognition that this life is so short ..

  The whole world is geared right now to producing more and more stuff to be consumed .. this is what “drives the economy” .. which is assumed to be a good thing .. Production and selling .. with all its modern madness of the throw away society and the endless designing and inventing of new unnecessary products just so that there is more stuff to be sold which will make the individual rich and more taxes to be payed to the government which will make the country rich and therefore powerful and enable it to buy arms so that other countries may be attacked or at least defended against and in the case of enough arms being owned .. provide a deterrent against attack and war .. Ay Dios !

  The incredibly high price of arms of course means that if they get used or become necessary in armed combat and war more must be bought so therefore war is good for the economy .. which is of course the goal of human life .. so war is a good thing !

  What !?

  Madness .. complete and utter madness which all stems from the primary illusion that I am a separate object in a world of objects ..

  In the present world consciousness this is being dimly recognised .. but there is no emphasis on the alarming necessity of recognition of our split dualistic consciousness being the root of all our troubles and the healing of this split by the development of non-dual consciousness being the only real solution to the problems of the human condition ..

  It is not a matter of saying how things would work out if this happened .. it is a matter of this happening and then seeing the results ..

  Here enters a whole discussion and angle .. which derives from the notion / recognition that generally it is seen that non-dual consciousness is precisely something that cannot be obtained or achieved but is rather a “grace” .. an apparently undeserved gift with no real connection to any effort on the part of the individual thus graced.

  However if it is an accident or a grace it has often been pointed out that spiritual exercises .. wether meditation, self enquiry or prayers & worship .. fasting and repetition of spiritual phrases and formulas .. will make one ‘grace-prone’ ..

  Most people .. especially in the modern living cases of those professing to have, or be living in, non-dual consciousness .. will say that it was an accident or a grace unconnected with anything they were doing before .. Which seems entirely logical given that they are now experiencing life ‘going by itself’ as it were .. seen as a unitary happening with no real signs of cause and effect ..

  Witness Adyashanti’s immediate understanding upon enlightenment that he had just left Zen .. which is the vehicle which had apparently taken him there .. and Wayne Liqorman’s insistence upon ‘FSA’ or the false sense of authorship as being the distinguishing mark of dualistic consciousnes.

  I am only saying this in the light of the fact that if one believes it to be a necessary development of consciousnes in order for the human race to save itself from self-destruction .. then how is it to be introduced say .. into schools or on the curriculum or even into early training in family .. if the connection between any given practice and a result is so tenuous ? ..

  It seems obvious that the failure of all previous religions up ‘til now has been mainly due to the fact that they have tried to impose awareness of a non-dual entity through highly dualistic methods .. perhaps the worst of which is physical violence and coersion in the form of war.

  If explanation is what is needed then what prevents us, how come it is so difficult to explain ?

  For one thing all language is couched in terms of duality .. all things are known by their opposites or in contrast to something else .. even when reduced to a basic black and white forms may be figured and discerned both in drawing and in photos .. but if no contrast exists .. if all is the same colour or colourless .. how is anything to be discerned ?

  How come I have this understanding of duality and non-duality even though I cannot truly say that I have non-dual consciousness ? If it is an intellectual understanding then it must be in terms of duality so perhaps I am caught in the duality between duality and non-duality .. Merely creating another object of desire to be ‘achieved’ or attained .. yet it is in a way a state of consciousness to be attained ..

  Or is this the big mistake ? Some would say that only complete acceptance can attain it ..

  Anyway .. I think I digress ..

  How to say this ? .. It is a big ask .. my head kind of understands it .. but I can’t spill it straight out .. the thing about the rules and regulations of religions at least being better than no moral precepts whatsoever ..

  (seeing that dualistic rules and regulations cause so much trouble has not been cured by getting rid of them .. this can only happen in their natural disappearance via a general non-dual consciousness making them unnecessary)

  Belief in God is different from non-dual consciousnes .. although many believers in God (especially the sufis) have attained or been graced non-dual consciousness through the recognition that there is nothing but God ..

  Here goes my head again ..

  How to come to any conclusions about anything ? In general as regards the knotty problem of non-dual consciousness .. but especially about the even more knotty problem of believing in God and theistic non-duality .. ?

  Am I giving up again already ? .. Can I say nothing until I have attained or been graced non-dual consciousness ?

  I am being made to wobble somehwat by the modern non-dualists who insist that all our beliefs are just that .. beliefs learned from our predecessors .. parents and school etc ..

  I wonder why I have a predeliction for Islam now .. and find a kind of recognition of truth in the Koran ? Is it years of being with Sheikh Nazim ? .. Or is it just relief from my awful nature of laziness and escapism through the ‘knowledge’ of the punishment I must receive because of my lack and failure to comply with most of the common conventions of good behaviour .. ?

  Angry analysis of the basic premises of the semitic religions, with a judging punishing God who created us in the first place with all our weaknesses .. Who made us with a naturally disobedient nafs and filled with desires while sending us messages of retribution if we don’t obey and if we follow our desires .. seems like a pretty rough thing to do for a loving God envisaged as a kind of heavenly father ..and brings one naturally to the conclusion that these religions were invented by man as some sort of way to control and tame individuals and societies in a way which would be mutually beneficial and less self destructive (some would add, and also under the control of the small elite at the head of the heirarchy priveleged with knowledge, either due to reading and writing skills or via divine inspiration).

  The normal egoic drives of the average human individual never give him time to consider the meaning of life or wether there is such a thing as a meaning to life because he is too busy ‘feathering his own nest’ .. making provision for himself and his family in terms of sustenance and shelter ..

  Where does the humanitarian instinct .. and the empathy for others come from ? A little reflection will rapidly bring one to the conclusion that ‘do as you would be done by’is the best policy .. (after all Jesus’s message “Love God and love your neighbour as yourself.” is basically this.) If we all did this the world would be a happier and gentler place .. but it doesn’t happen .. why ?

  The ego is the first one to be blamed .. egoic or selfish desires ..

  In a dog eat dog or jungle situation .. there is no time for the luxury of reflection .. the strongest wins and that is that .. Whichever individual wether animal or human is strongest will inevitably get ‘the lions share’ .. so this has often been seen to be the guiding principle of nations spurred on by the love of power and wealth .. Our own Empire has been a shining example of this in many ways .. though .. as with so many empires before , often linked directly with a vision of themselves, the conquerors, as being the bringers of civilisation and good to a ‘lesser’ race or group of humanity incapable of organising themselves in a cohesive and mutually beneficial way. This coupled with the idea that they are doing ‘God’s work’ .. or that the conquest has only been possible because of the support of God or the gods .. is seen as a double justification of the assertion of might over others.

  It may be thought to be a thing of the past while we comfortably view ourselves as a modern democratic world with a bill of human rights .. but it will soon be seen that the democratic capitalist / Christian model has been forced upon the world by the Americans in the wake of the British Empire for the same goals of economic benefit and control but achieved by more covert means with a veneer of independence granted to the invaded countries as long as they have democratic goevernments with leaders acceptable to the West meanwhile enslaving the populations & their governments through huge and unpayable loans with vast levels of interest which are impossible to ever pay back thus insuring the continuing power and ascendance of the lenders over them without appearing to actually rule them politically ..

  The extent of the proliferation of American bases throughout the world is never fully comprehended in its global policing of this covert empire ..

  So ultimately we are still functioning as a jungle organisation with (up til now) the Americans getting the lions share and the rest of the world picking up the crumbs materially and happy with their rights to be ruled by a democratically elected government giving the human rights of equality of men and women and black and white and gay and straight ..

  Wonderful !

  So long as we all keep producing and consuming .. and indulging our pleasure seeking, no matter what the cost to the environment and the contribution to climate change .. and the more we can be put to sleep by consumption of goods and services for the pleasure of the ego at all levels bodily and mentally and emotionally .. then we are convenient sheep to the slaughter of the hidden masters of the economic and financial system ..

  Getting control of that system or trying to root out the fat cats or the hidden evil masters of greed will not change anything .. No man made system wether capitalist, communist or democratic has ever or will ever work because the egoic desires for power and wealth will always re-assert themselves under whatever guise in whatever system.

  The democratic system appears to be the best we have in that it appears to protect us from the dominance of one individual or small group via blood lines and tradition which has sometimes been good and often bad for the majority population ..

  That was the old system and the faults were easy to see .. there was little transparency in the mechanisms of wielding power but the power itself was a transparent thing .. and the group wielding it were easy to identify.

  In the modern world the group wielding the power has become hidden and even recently, despite the near-collapse of the global financial system only obvious public figureheads like the directors of banks have been castigated in any way .. and then only with reductions of the massive bonuses which they had been enjoying previously. The real puppet masters have never been found and even if a few of them have been exposed they have never been brought to justice .. Even the so called ‘Sherriff of Wall Street.’ Eliot Spitzer, was easily tumbled with an exposure of his sex life. (One also wonders what threat was really posed by Strauss Kahn to be brought into such disrepute and public humiliation) ..

  How to get that message across to humanity before it is too

  late ?

  How to make that a living reality ?

  Must the world split into two huge armed camps as an undeniable symbol of our basic dualistic consciousness and fight each other to our own inevitable destruction ?

  Is our hidden saviour concealed in that great and terrible event ?

  Is that coming soon ?

  Will it really be as Sheikh Nazim and Sheikh Abdullah have predicted ? Based on the prophesied coming of the Mahdi and the return of Jesus Christ ?

  Must four fifths of the world’s population be destroyed in a nuclear conflagration before the New Era is ushered in ?

  A new spiritual era like heaven on earth when there will be no need for food as we all function on spiritual energy .. and when to merely think of a place will transport us there ?

  When ordinary people will be like saints and saints will be gushing fountains of love ?

  Must we be believers in Allah and worshippers of the One God in order to survive‘til that time ?

  Must we be sinless ? Or pardoned by intercession due to affiliation to Sheikh Nazim and the Naqshbandis ?In other words under the spiritual protection of an Islamic elite filled with love for the one true messenger and Allah ..

  It sounds mad to most ears I suspect ..

  It is what has been taught to me over the years ..

  I am in fear not only of that imminent time and its terrible events but also of my own punishment in retribution for my bad actions and lack of good ones wether I die in a terrible Armageddon conflagration or not ..

  It’s true .. I cannot deny it .. yet I am frozen in fear and negativity .. unable to deal with any of the responsibilities of normal everyday life or relationship to others.

  I cannot talk about Sheikh Nazim’s prophecy in any normal way .. I can hardly speak of my Islamic tendencies in any public arena other than an Islamic or sufi one ..

  But I can speak of non-duality and the urgent necessity for man to go beyond his mad self-destructive tendency caused by ‘seeing double’ .. living the illusion of two where in fact there is only One .. and all things point to that.

  I don’t think that I am saying that non-duality and God are the same thing but that non-duality is the most salient characteristic of God which is accessible through oneself through the practice of self enquiry or looking for oneself, by which method it will be quite clearly seen that what is found rests in the coincidence of subject and object which can be logically accepted when one recognises that the one looking .. the subject, is the same as the one looked for, the object. Therefore it is not known or cognised in any way akin to the normal cognition of subject and object .. What one is is indefinable and unknowable in any way familiar to the normal cognitive processes .. and it may be said that this is also true of God ..

  God is beyond any concept or form in Himself .. He has qualities which may be understood as they are the pre-cursors of human qualities such as love mercy power and justice .. but in Himself He is unknowable ..

  I in myself am unknowable .. though I have qualities through which I may be recognised ..

  It is my understanding that my unknowable self and the unkowable self of God are .. though not the same thing .. yet inextricably linked in a way which I could best describe as Him projected as something of Himself into my form .. what is commonly called the spirit or ‘ruh’ .. the breath of God or the soul. I believe that it is what accounts for life .. the life in me which appears for a while and then returns to its source when the source has decreed .. I am therefore ‘here’ for a short span of existence in dualistic reality and form .. my consciousness inhabiting, as it were, a human form .. and that the whole point of that short span of habitation is to recognise the reality of that which gave me form and which ‘blew’ my spirit life into me or my form .. and gave me a ‘point of view’ through these eyes from this apparent place with accompanying thoughts recognising my point of view and my form and my actions and all pointing to the one unkowable reality behind all those appearances .. as the source of all.

  Without form and human thought and consciousness God remains a hidden secret .. hidden in an unkown unity .. in order to be known He created .. produced out of Himself in a way not understood by us .. a creature endowed with not only a temporary independent life and capacity to reproduce his own kind, but also accompanying thought and consciousness which must inevitably lead back to recognition of the source of all ..

  That capacity to recognise the unity behind all (or at least the recognition of the logical necessity of it) should lead to the looking for it and also recognition that this is the yearning behind all yearnings .. the longing of the longing .. which we all project onto other human beings in the form of human love for another like ourselves .. or onto objects of desire and repeatable experiences of pleasure .. Human love is the nearest reflection in human experience of the love of God because what we love in another is ultimately the divine spark which gives him or her life, it is the divine in us recognising & attracted to the divine in them. Only our egoic insistence on having things our own way gets in the way of the smooth running of human relationships, pure love, which is unitary and undivided is not to blame, desire for pleasure and the assertion of might is what causes all the trouble.

  All our consciousness and motivation is unconsciously seeking the source of all .. but the temporary relief found in objects of desire and experiences of pleasure keep us bound in the wheel of desire and temporary satisfaction .. The only way out of this circular prison is to find the real satisfaction which is beyond any temporary life experience or material object ..

  Enlightenment or non-dual consciousness if complete and real should signify the end of identification with the egoic self and its endless round of desire and temporary satisfaction ..

  In other words we must move from dualistic consciousness and goals to recognition of non-dual consciousness and its attainment .. (the goal and attainment of which are the same thing).

  If we are still stuck without even the recognition of non-duality or non-dual consciousness .. how can we ever save humanity from its pel mel rush towards self-destruction ?

  It must be recognised that the game of black and white can never be decisively won .. One side can keep the other down for only so long .. then there will be the inevitable reaction .. and the side that was down will fight back ..

  No empire has ever been known to last for ever, not even that one apparently established for God ..

  God cannot be found or brought by empire .. He can only be discovered within oneself .. it is an individual work but a common necessity ..

  How to get this glaringly important message across to humanity at a general level which will affect millions .. enough to have the ‘hundredth monkey’ effect and spread naturally through the rest of the population .. by enough people reaching that critical mass necessary to raise the consciousness of humanity over the whole planet and stop the mad game of black and white .. of might is right .. of win and lose .. that is the only problem to solve right now.

  In non-dual consciousness there is no loss and gain .. just as there is no need for rules regulations laws and punishments to restrain or rewards to motivate ..

  The rewards are not material riches and physical pleasures .. the losses only pertain to the prison of dualistic consciousness and existence ..

  A flock of starlings in the sky all move together with no apparent leader .. they do not bump into each other .. we watch in wonder but never recognise what or who controls them ..

  We stare in wonder through telescopes at the workings of the stars and planets never understanding or knowing who or what produced them or keeps them in their fixed orbits ..

  We stare down microscopes at the wonder of the microscopic world until we are led to the submicroscopic world and events taking place among objects only evidenced by mathematical calculation based on measurement by machines.

  We think endlessly but rarely stand back to observe the arising of thought and whence it came .. imputing it to ourselves but never realising that we cannot actually think a thought .. we can neither stop them nor make them happen .. though seemingly we can divert them from one course to another .. but even that will be seen to be ultimately a fiction ..

  Some may say that no use then to try to divert the course of destiny by crying for non-dual consciousness as a panacea for all our ills .. and yet .. if it is my destiny .. then that is what I must do .. Maybe it is destined for me to try to help man to accept totally his destiny and in that way for destiny to be changed .. ?

  Submission and peace are the roots of Islam .. indicating that total submission to the will of Allah will bring peace ..

  Only our illusion of individual will and being able to do anything at all .. is what prevents us from peace ..

  It is not about giving up .. it is about recognition of The One .. and that that One is not only the source of all but also has power over all ..

  All that happens is according to His Will .. he is the Mighty in might and will and His Will is done always and forever ..

  We can do nothing, but in the constant turning to Him is the secret of real freedom .. Those most submitted to His Will have even been given the power of “Be ! and it is !” or “Kun faya Kun.”

  They only say to a thing “Be!” and it is ..

  That is miraculous power .. evidenced by Jesus as he healed the sick and brought the dead to life ..

  Power which is not of secondary causes and effects .. God’s power which is immediate and direct with no intermediary ..

  “It was not you who threw when you threw.” (Koran)

  As is the case with those who worship God so much with voluntary worship that their very grasp is God’s grasp and their looking is God’s looking and their hearing is God’s hearing ..

  Annihilated in God their ego-self and motivation is no more and their very action is nothing but God’s .. their words have multilayered meanings and reach all individuals on the level of their understanding .. as the Koran to does to its readers and hearers ..

  And who was the most annihilated in God ? Muhammad .. and what book did he bring ? That written by God Himself (Muhammad could neither read or write .. he was the unlettered prophet pbuh) .. the Koran of which the book which we know is but a copy or ‘mushaf’ .. the original being written on the Preserved Tablet ..or Al Lauh al Mahfuz.

  It is said that there are two Korans .. the one in the form of a book composed of ayats (what we would call verses) or signs and the other the whole of creation, also composed of ayats or signs which, generally speaking, most people do not know how to read .. although upon examination they will all be seen to point to God .. “Wherever you look there is His Face.”

  At the above site about pre-destination in Islam (or Qadar) .. I came across the quite interesting solution proffered for the age old question of pre-determination and free will that Allah operates outside of time (and space) and therefore is privy to what happens ‘before’ it has happened .. whereas we who are prisoners of serial time must still act with the assumption of cause and effect and therefore apply what appears to be our free will and use our intention to do things according to the good and the right as opposed to the bad and the wrong .. Though the intention and its outcome is known to Allah ‘before’ we intend or do .. yet it is our duty to use our time-given will and intention in the right way .. even while recognising at a deep level that we cannot do anything which is not ultimately His Will .. yet our test is within time and duality in the world of apparent cause and effect .. in that which is apprehended by thought and the senses .. the world of forms ..

  Only one annihilated in Allah’s will may do or say something apparently against the sharia law and be unharmed by swords or punishments when Allah’s Will causes a break in the common laws of duality and a miraculous event may be witnessed such as a sword passing through a human form and leaving it unharmed. As in the case of abdl Qadr Gilani when he ordered his murids to kill him if, in a spiritual state, he uttered something contrary to the law of Islam. When they slashed at him with their knives they simply passed right through him leaving him unharmed.

  So also, one annihilated in Allah may move immediately from one place to another at a great distance as witnessed in the koran when “One with knowledge of the book.” brought the throne of Bilquis to Solomon .. in the twinkling of an eye, faster tha any ifreet or djinn could do ..

  So also, if necessary, the annihilated one may take on the shape or form of another person in order to appear to someone with a message or to influence events .. and also may appear in many places at once if it is granted as a necessary happening in order say, to convey a message to many thousands in jumaas across the globe .. also reported of Sheikh Abdl Qadr Gilani.

  But when they see some bargain or some amusement, they disperse headlong to it, and leave thee standing. Say: “The (blessing) from the Presence of Allah is better than any amusement or bargain! And Allah is the Best to provide (for all needs).” (11) Surat 62 Al Jumaa.

  وَإِذَا رَأَوۡاْ تِجَـٰرَةً أَوۡ لَهۡوًا ٱنفَضُّوٓاْ إِلَيۡہَا وَتَرَكُوكَ قَآٮِٕمً۬ا‌ۚ قُلۡ مَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ خَيۡرٌ۬ مِّنَ ٱللَّهۡوِ وَمِنَ ٱلتِّجَـٰرَةِ‌ۚ وَٱللَّهُ خَيۡرُ ٱلرَّٲزِقِينَ (١١)

  Whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare the Praises and Glory of Allah― the Sovereign, the Holy One, the Exalted in Might, the Wise. (1) Surat 62 Al Jumaa

  يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ٱلۡمَلِكِ ٱلۡقُدُّوسِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَكِيمِ (١)

  Sahih Muslim Book 35. The Rememberance Of Allah, Supplication, Repentance And Seeking Forgiveness

  Chapter : Exhortation for the remembrance of Allah, the Exalted.

  Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying that Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, thus stated: I am near to the thought of My servant as he thinks about Me, and I am with him as he remembers Me. And if he remembers Me in his heart, I also remember him in My Heart, and if he remembers Me in assembly I remember him in assembly, better than his (remembrance), and if he draws near Me by the span of a palm, I draw near him by the cubit, and if he draws near Me by the cubit I draw near him by the space (covered by) two hands. And if he walks towards Me, I rush towards him.

  Surah Al-Hadid

  In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

  Whatever is in the heavens and on earth declares the Praises and Glory of Allah: for He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. (1) To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; it is He Who gives life and Death; and He has Power over all things. (2) He is the First and the Last, the Evident and the Hidden and He has full knowledge of all things. (3) He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days, and is moreover firmly established on the Throne (of authority), He knows what enters within the earth and what comes forth out of it, what comes down from heaven and what mounts up to it. And He is with you wheresoever ye may be. And Allah sees well all that ye do. (4) To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth: and all affairs go back to Allah. (5) He merges Night into Day, and He merges Day into Night; and He has full knowledge of the secrets of (all) hearts. (6)

  سُوۡرَةُ الحَدید
  بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
  

  سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ‌ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ (١) لَهُ ۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ‌ۖ يُحۡىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ‌ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ۬ قَدِيرٌ (٢) هُوَ ٱلۡأَوَّلُ وَٱلۡأَخِرُ وَٱلظَّـٰهِرُ وَٱلۡبَاطِنُ‌ۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَىۡءٍ عَلِيمٌ (٣) هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ۬ ثُمَّ ٱسۡتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلۡعَرۡشِ‌ۚ يَعۡلَمُ مَا يَلِجُ فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا يَخۡرُجُ مِنۡہَا وَمَا يَنزِلُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا يَعۡرُجُ فِيہَا‌ۖ وَهُوَ مَعَكُمۡ أَيۡنَ مَا كُنتُمۡ‌ۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ۬ (٤) لَّهُ ۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ‌ۚ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُرۡجَعُ ٱلۡأُمُورُ (٥) يُولِجُ ٱلَّيۡلَ فِى ٱلنَّہَارِ وَيُولِجُ ٱلنَّہَارَ فِى ٱلَّيۡلِ‌ۚ وَهُوَ عَلِيمُۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ (٦)

  No misfortune can happen on earth or in your souls but is recorded in a decree before We bring it into existence: that is truly easy for Allah: (22) In order that ye may not despair over matters that pass you by, nor exult over favours bestowed upon you. For Allah loveth not any vainglorious boaster― (23)

  مَآ أَصَابَ مِن مُّصِيبَةٍ۬ فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَا فِىٓ أَنفُسِكُمۡ إِلَّا فِى ڪِتَـٰبٍ۬ مِّن قَبۡلِ أَن نَّبۡرَأَهَآ‌ۚ إِنَّ ذَٲلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرٌ۬ (٢٢) لِّكَيۡلَا تَأۡسَوۡاْ عَلَىٰ مَا فَاتَكُمۡ وَلَا تَفۡرَحُواْ بِمَآ ءَاتَٮٰڪُمۡ‌ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخۡتَالٍ۬ فَخُورٍ (٢٣)

  Jeez ! The whole sura is full of such things ! It is as if I were reading the koran for the first time these days !

  O ye that believe! Fear Allah and believe in His messenger, and He will bestow on you a double portion of His Mercy: He will provide for you a Light by which ye shall walk (straight in your path), and He will forgive you (your past): For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful: (28) That the People of the Book may know that they have no power whatever over the Grace of Allah, that (His) Grace is (entirely) in, His Hand, to bestow it on whomsoever He wills. For Allah is the Lord of Grace abounding. (29)
